Culinary Communion

Culinary Communion teaches cooking and wine classes in the Seattle area in an effort to create a community of food enthusiasts, or “foodies.”

Love to learn? Join us for hands-on classes in our home or yours.

Love to laugh? In each class, we drink wine, laugh, and talk. And, of course, sit down to enjoy the meal we've created together.

Join us and savor the pleasure that comes from cooking and eating with loved ones and friends.

Come meet Chef Katie!

Upcoming Classes
Some of the fun classes we've got coming up:

Long Lunch: Mediterranean Appetizers, Thurs, 8/28, 12-2pm. In and out in two hours, this class is perfect for you to escape from work for a "long lunch" and come back mentally refreshed (and full of great food and new ideas!).

Spicy Series, three consecutive Fridays, 6-9pm, beginning August 29. If endorphins are your game, join us for three incredibly high evenings of spicy food and hot conversation!.

Washington Wines, Fri, 8/29, 7-9pm. Washington has some incredible vintages to offer — learn how to drink as well as eat locally!

Cooking in Italy!
Join us for an unforgettable week of food: a week of hands-on cooking and in-depth food experiences in the Umbria region of Italy! Make cheese with local producers, bake in a centuries-old brick oven, cook with the freshest local ingredients. Guests of previous trips say our trips are the culinary experience of a lifetime!

New Chefs!
We are thrilled to welcome two new chefs to our full-time teaching staff:  Chef Greg Miller, ex-Napa resident who'll also be teaching wine classes, and well-known Seattlite Chef Tom Black of Barking Frog fame. Watch for their new classes soon!

Hot Class Discounts!
Our Guest List program offers last-minute class openings and discounts. Click here for more information!

Pay less at the pump! These pumps are used for wine, not gasoline, at a cantina we'll visit in Italy.

Thai Cuisine, with its bright flavors, is a perfect daytime escape Thursday, 9/11.
